Animals are my passion and have been my whole life. She has been a professional pet sitter with Loving Pet Care since the fall of 2010.
I have a BS in biology from the University of Georgia and worked in the field of behavior neuroscience for over 10 years at the University of Texas.
I do in home visits and have a select pack of toy dogs that stay in my home for daycare and overnight boarding.
I'm holding my beloved King Charles Cavalier, Malky.

Linda is kind, compassionate and committed to providing nurturing and loving care for each of the pets she cares for. She often falls in love with them and looks forward to seeing and playing with them whenever she has the opportunity.
They respond to her gentle, friendly manner and often the joyful friendships are mutual.
She’s an active meditator and in her spare time she loves being in nature, spending time with friends, writing, watching movies, eating out and dabbling in a variety of creative projects.

New to Austin, but a big fan of this dog friendly city already!
Grew up in RI with a chocolate lab and a sweet kitty. I currently have an AmStaff and love her to pieces!
I’ve been pet sitting/dog walking independently for the past 4 years in Los Angeles before we moved here.
I offer in-my-home boarding as an option as well.
I’m a big lover of all animals and can’t wait to meet some new furry friends and give them lots of love and comfort while their family is away.

I grew up on a small farm in a rural Kenyan village, where our family was one of the few that had dogs. They weren’t house pets like in the West—they were more like farm companions—but they sparked a lifelong love of animals and a deep ease around them.
I still remember when my dad brought home our first dog, a black puppy we named Mbiri (which means “black” in the local dialect). I was around five years old and completely thrilled. Mbiri soon had puppies of her own, and for much of my childhood, we had at least three dogs at any given time. They remain some of my fondest memories.
I moved to the U.S. in 2000 and have called Austin home since 2011. In Austin, I’ve been deeply involved in vibrant communities like yoga, Authentic Relating, Circling, and Ecstatic Dance—spaces that celebrate presence, connection, and care, values I bring into my pet care work.
I’ve cared for both dogs and cats for many years—my own first, and then as a dedicated pet sitter for the past 18 months.
In summer 2024, I embraced the digital nomad lifestyle, traveling around the U.S. and combining pet sitting with adventure, while always returning to Austin as my home base.
Professionally, I work remotely as a personal coach and consultant, which allows me to be present with the animals I care for throughout the day. I’m also a certified yoga teacher and currently building an online yoga startup.
A little quirk about me: I’ve been watching dog training videos for as long as I can remember. I just find them endlessly fascinating and intellectually satisfying.
When you choose me to care for your pets, you're choosing someone who approaches the role with warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. I look forward to meeting you—and your furry companions.

I have been pet sitting for five years.
I'm a Liberal Arts Honors student at The University of Austin.
I am a compassionate, patient, and proactive caregiver. I have a background in children’s theater and my playful and adaptive spirit enjoys nothing more then going on adventures and loving up your furry loved ones.
Being a pet parent myself, I will treat your pet with all the love and attention I would my own.

I am an Illinois native, an avid walker and enjoy taking along canine companions.
As a speech pathologist I trained and worked with a service dog in my work with individuals with special needs.
I am compassionate and dependable and a perfect fit for the
Loving Pet Care team!

Hi! My name is Mckenna! I am a full-time animal lover. At home, I have taken care of Nova - a Maine Coon that I adopted from APA 8 years ago, although recently passed. I currently look after my sweet Jade, a 2 year old silver lab.
She is my pride and joy & is always by my side! I grew up with Roxy, my families' miniature Australian Shepard, as well as 2 full sized Australian Shepherds prior. I have also looked after friend's dogs, ranging from Great Danes to Rat Terriers. I love all dogs and cats, no matter the size or energy level! Proper animal care requires attentiveness and genuine effort. For that reason, I will make sure to adapt to your animal’s needs, make sure they are happy, having fun, and safe 100% of the time.
I am a Texas native, born in Bulverde, but moved to Austin at the age of 5. I have lived in Austin ever since and have lived in just about every area in Austin, from north to south. I got my BA in Psychology from UT Austin
(hook ‘em!), and I am currently obtaining my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. I am also a personal trainer, specializing in strength training. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible! I am diligent as I am dependable.
I look forward to working with you and your furry friends!

I grew up in the mountains of Albuquerque, NM as part of a large family and even larger "stable" of animals. At one time we had a horse, a goat, a sheep and numerous cats and dogs. We even had a pet tarantula!
My love of animals continues to this day. I've been pet sitting for 15 years and have cared for many animals, including one dog that was blind and mostly deaf.
I look forward to caring for your furry friends !

Growing up, I was surrounded by dogs, starting with my Beagle, Wally, and later including a number of Basset Hounds (Chumsley, Benji, and Snickers) along with five cats. After my son graduated high school and headed off to UT Austin, I decided to mix things up and take a break from filmmaking.
I turned to pet sitting for a number of reasons: to dive deeper into the world of dogs and cats, meet other families, and because it's a lot of fun!
I believe that the connection with these animals adds an abundance of joy and companionship to our lives.
With Loving Pet Care, I bring my lifelong love for pets, my creative spirit, and my commitment to ensuring every pet feels loved and every owner feels supported and at ease while away.
I've lived in Austin, Texas for 17 years, working as a creative director, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. My notable works include the documentaries ALUMINATION, exploring Airstream travel trailers, and VISUAL ACOUSTICS, which highlights the renowned architectural photographer Julius Shulman.

My name is Mandy, and I have been providing house and pet care for over 20 years. I have had the joy of looking after many different animal babies over the years, the usual suspects of dogs and cats, of course, along with birds, chickens, fish, reptiles, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and horses,
(I'm probably forgetting someone in there).
I also love plants so if you have a big garden or a lot of house plants,
I'm your girl.
By profession I am an ordained interfaith minister & spiritual guide, offering energetic space clearing, amongst other things, so it is in my nature to leave a home feeling light and clean for the owner's return.
I also love to travel and try to spend as much time outdoors as possible.
Thank you for considering me to look after your home and fur babies
while you are away.

Originally from the Midwest, I've been based in Central Texas for the past 16 years. I love the weather here and the diversity and friendly vibe of Austinites.
Trained as a pediatric trauma counselor, I do regular international volunteer humanitarian relief work. My own two furry family members accompany me everywhere, flying at my feet in the cabin as therapy dogs. They are an invaluable part of my volunteer work and a testimony of the healing power of animals.
As a counselor, I understand the importance of stability, familiarity and structure, especially for animals. As a regular traveler, I understand how difficult it can be to trust the care of your furry (or not-so-furry) loved ones to someone else.
For me, it is an honor and a privilege to help you keep your pet(s) in the comfort of your own home while you are away and set your mind at ease, knowing they are in capable and caring hands.

Hi! My name is Courtney and I'm an Arizona native working as a community relations specialist in Austin, where I get to connect with people and make a positive impact.
I also have a background in animal care and pet sitting, and I absolutely love spending time with any animal friends.
When I'm not working, you can usually find me with a good book in hand, taking a spin class while scream singing, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or enjoying a walk in nature. I believe in embracing life's little moments and making time for what truly matters.
I’m excited to work with you and your furry friends making sure they get the care and attention they need.

A dog person, a cat person or a horse person? Yes! Certified Equine Specialist Catherine Swan is an animal person who has developed effective, compassionate and intuitive communication techniques that she also uses with her canine and feline partners.
Her specialty is building connected relationships with animals based on patience, love and respect.
A retired Travis County 4-H Animal Science teacher, registered massage therapist and native Austinite, Catherine enjoys the energy and enthusiasm of dogs and also loves the independent nature of cats.
Whether it’s a quick business trip or an extended vacation, Catherine’s clients travel with peace of mind knowing their pets, plants and home are in the care of an experienced professional.

Kim also boards cats in her home.
I'm a lifelong Central Texan and, other than a stint in the UT dorms, I've had cats continuously since I was about six.
I first moved to East Austin in 2006, and currently have four cats-- including one who loves to play fetch. Since 2021, I've also fostered 38 cats--mostly neonatal kittens.
I work in social media and advocacy for a large national nonprofit, and I help run a small local arts nonprofit in my free time.
I look forward to meeting your fur-babies!

I've been with Loving Pet Care for 5 years, because I love animals!
I like that staying overnight in your home enables your pet(s) to continue their normal routines and to feel more relaxed and safe.
I have been a preschool music teacher, singing and playing with children, for almost 20 years, and I sing to and play with my animal friends as well.
I am dependable and always go the extra mile in my care of your beloved pets and home.

I am an experienced and kind animal caregiver with 10+ years of experience. I have a naturally calm and warm personality; attentive to and considerate of individual needs.
I work for a local elementary school, providing lots of love and dependable care for my students.
I loves walks through wild spaces as much as quiet cuddles with my animal charges.

I moved to Austin in Spring of 2024 from Chicago. I moved here to have more sunny days in my life and I’m still getting to know my new city. I traveled here with one dog and two cats.
I have a small biz with a couple partners in which we recruit creative thinkers for brainstorming projects. We help create ideas for new products or the marketing language around them. I’m a film and YouTube geek and I paint and collect (and sometimes make) perfumes. I also garden, grow chili peppers, make hot sauce, cook and have been perfecting my pizza for over 10 years using my sourdough starter that is now 15 years old.
I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. As an adult I got my first dog in my mid-20’s and have had multiple dogs and cats in my life ever since. I have never been without an animal in my home since the first. Just a few years ago, I maxed out with three dogs and five cats all together in my home – every one of them were rescues, from a shelter or someone who could no longer care for the pet or from finding them in the street. My Basset Hound came off the street on a cold 0-degree Chicago night.
Animals have always been a very important part of my life, and I know they are for everyone else with pets. I happen to have the luxury of having a job with a great amount of flexibility that allows me to get out and spend time with other’s pets when they need some additional help with them. Your schedule may not be flexible, but mine is. I’m really glad to be able to help when I can.

I have lived in Austin for more than 20 years and am a professional designer by trade, working mostly in technology for a variety of clients.
I've had cats as pets my whole life, I love dogs, and growing up took care of a variety of exotic species (turtles, fish- both fresh & saltwater, lizards, snakes, and spiders).
I look forward to taking care of your furry family members when you're out of town, making sure they're happy and healthy.
